Hi,

Back in Vegas in a few weeks - yay!! - and have a quick question re timings.

I'm coming in from Phoenix, so my flight to McCarran (on US) is a domestic arrival on a Saturday morning at 11:51 into Terminal 1.

As I'm staying at the Trop I was kinda hoping to catch the WAX 12:22 departure - do you think 1/2 an hour is enough from the aircraft to the bus ?

Thanks !

Probably not since "arrival time" is the time u land & not the time u get to the gate. If you were off the plane at 11:51 & didn't have any checked luggage it would be doable.

It may be possible if your airline pads their arrival time. I find that lately most of the flight I have been on have been getting in 10-15 minutes early, I'm usually flying between two to 5 hours so it may be possible that they are really making good time so I'm not sure if shorter flights are less likely to come in early.

You may want to check to see if your airline has an earlier flight that you may be able to get on at no cost if you show up early, have no checked bags, and the plane has seats available.

If you are just carry on only it's possible. Forget about it if you check bags. Saturday morning is pretty quiet and that route is unlikely to have delays and the walk gate to bus is 10-15 minutes if you move at a normal pace

Also depends on where you're seated on the plane. If your plane gets to the gate at 11:51, and you're seated near the front, with only carry-on luggage, you can make it easily. You might want to check the on-time performance for your flight at flightstats.com.

If you miss the WAX, it looks like you've got a few other bus options that will get you to your destination faster than waiting an hour for the next WAX bus. Then there's always the shared Bell Trans shuttle.

Later buses? They are there if you need them.
