I forgot to mention that the lady that I had spoken to told me that they probably wouldn't be able to do much about anything that has happened but they hope to be able to get the casino to do the right thing moving forward. For what it's worth, if it ever came down to it, I do have a long time employee who is willing to back up what I've said. This really isnt a she said/ he said kind of deal because everything I've said is true. The casinos own records will prove that what I'm saying is a fact.

Face facts, the casinos run this city. Even when they are caught with flagrant violations, they get a slap on the wrist. (Google what happened at the day pools and the nightclubs for specifics.)
You are right. 98.5% didn't get let go: 100% did. Anyone that doesn't believe is welcome to go through the casinos records providing the casino will actually let anyone see them. I didn't ask the lady to do anything about my specific situation because I think the most they could probably do is try to get me my job back ( I highly doubt they'll be able to get me any money)and I dont ever want to work for that shady ass venue.

Um no. Because she was livid and called the lawyer. If it was " kick rocks" she wouldn't have bothered to call the lawyer or act livid now would she? You clearly have very little interaction with others or you'd be better at reading social cues. Although if she would have told me to go away, I wouldn't have cared because im not benefiting from any of this at all. However she immediately called their lawyer and thanked me profusely for bringing it to their attention so they could investigate the matter. The Union obviously cared, Sherlock. But it's like what scoop has said earlier, I think the union realizes that the casinos do in fact run this city and the casino on technicality didnt go against the union contract. They simply found a way to play the system

How, exactly, do you know she actually called a lawyer?

How, exactly, have you extrapolated so much personal information from my short post?

Were you this rude as a cocktail waitress? Perhaps that's why you were let go...

Nah I was actually told by my manager ( the one who wants me to go to her venue) that I had a great personality . I was really well liked by customers. That's why I was shocked I was let go. After all, I was hired on looks and personality.

I know she called the lawyer because she said she would and because my friend ( the one who encouraged me to call the union ) also called them and was told that they were aware of the issue and their lawyer is looking into it. Of course, the Union could have been lying. If so that is their issue because I could careless about their union since it didn't do me or the other girls any good. If they don't give a damn that they won't be getting any new members then that's their business. and if they're so indifferent that girls are blatantly getting taken advantage of then they don't deserve any new members from that venue anyway. Let the venue eventually become non Union . It's all the same to me.

Look up the definition of " kick rocks." It's a very rude term and only someone socially inept would fail to understand why it's offensive. Take care
