Well I hear that girls have to pay the strip club to work there. I don't know how true that is.

No education plus no work experience plus you don't already live in Vegas means you're going to have a hell of a time trying to find a job.
Are you kidding me? Have you even been to the strip before? Excluding Wynn, ARIA, Venetian and Bellagio the average age of cocktail waitresses on the strip is easily between 55- 60 years old.

You're so far off its not even funny… rarely do any of these properties have anyone over 40, let alone 30…. the over 50s are at dives like the Riviera and anywhere there is bingo or bowling..

Next you'll say Hooters is over 50

There are some older cocktail waitresses, but they've probably been there for 30 years. I was just reading an article about some of them the other day. And they were working in the, shall we say not as nice of casinos than some of the other more top tier places.

As came up in another thread, some of the older strip casinos have older cocktail waitresses. They started out young and hot, and got the job. Then they either got into the union, or the casino unionized, and they got seniority. So the casinos got stuck with them.

Please just don't drag your kids here and whine when you can't afford day care because all the good jobs are held by grandmothers! It is not fair to them.
