Before you buy anything. Look at the listings for California. Things might cost more there but not cars. Go research it yourself if you dont want to believe me. If you dont mind taking a 4 hour drive you will save plenty.

Carmax is the most expensive no matter where you live. They have a very very high mark up. Next comes that Desert Auto Group. Pure criminal what they charge unsuspecting suckers. If you had an advertising budget equall to the Federal deficet you would have to charge mountians of dollars for your cars to pay that advertising bill right? Plus if I ever get my hands on that %^&* who screams CALL DESERT in my ear before I can change the channel I will rip his head off and $!!!!!T down his neck.

Seriously though. I shopped for my new RV and compared what the 3 major Southern Nevada dealers wanted and ended up finding quite a few choices of RV dealers in Cali that were many thousands cheaper. My neighbor told me a simular story when she just brought her new Ford 150 PU home from Escondito however you spell that place. She saved $2500 over her best price in Vegas.

Good luck

We have a 2004 xb. I do love it. I fill it up maybe once every 2 or 3 weeks. They are cute, practical.

umm, on the loan thing, dealers make a tiny profit if you have good credit, if your credit is below 730, your going to need capital one or eloan.. our 08 scion is financed at 5.5% through toyota at 60 months.. credit scores around 780
