I shouldn't complain. It keeps my property taxes low.

I think it's disingenuous for casinos to suggest that players are "earning" anything in the first place. I have a co-worker who pays hundreds of dollars every year in casino play for a "free" Thanksgiving turkey. I can go to just about any supermarket in Las Vegas and buy one for less than $10. I can also get one "free" if I buy all the side dish ingredients to go with the Thanksgiving feast.

Las Vegas exists because people aren't very good at math.
Or people who are very good at math, but like to gamble as a hobby. Some like to cook, some like to ski or camp, some like to play slots. If you are getting enjoyment from an activity, does it really matter what it costs, as long as you can afford it?
