I have only seen this here in town. Never anywhere else.
(Or maybe I'm just new to hospitals outside of military bases and this has been the norm for a while...)

They're everywhere. I actually used to be a valet at Renown in Reno. We help a lot of older patients get wheelchair and give directions.

Some hospitals in Salt Lake City are also doing this.

I haven't seen it around here, but I like the idea. Hospitals often have difficult parking situations that just add to the stress of patients and visitors. I hope our hospitals are starting to do it too.

It was new to me when we moved here. I haven't seen that in Washington, Idaho or Oregon.

You misunderstood the sign. Due to the popularity of nightclubs that cater to an "urban" clientele, valets are hit by so many stray bullets that they now have their own entrance to the emergency room.

LOL ^

Actually I think I remember St. Alphonsus in Boise, ID did start a valet by the emergency room entrance. Nobody really uses it because they're used to parking their cars themselves. I'm not sure if it's still there or not.

I lived in Washington and Oregon and many hospitals have valets...definitely not a Las Vegas only thing.
