Settebello > Naked Pizza >Grimaldi's > Secret Pizza > Dom DeMarco's Pizza > Pizza Rock > Little Caesars, Pizza Hut, Poppa John's et al.

Pizza Rock = good but over rated.

End of discussion (even though I have been in LV approximately 77.8 days and have been here 1/10th of a day too long to participate in this discussion).

You must also go to Pizza Rock after a big buffet meal.

(: You are disqualified!

The guys behind Pizza Rock are opening up an Italian diner in Palace Station this month or next. Should be worth trying out.

I wonder why Pizza Rock was rated best in the world multiple times.. I guess it's subjective

over rated according to whom?

both pizza rock and settebello have a 4.5 star review rating on yelp, and tbh i've been far from impressed by settebello.... granted i've only been there twice, but both times pizza was disappointing

it's fairly simple to make a good pizza. all you do is start with a high gluten / bread flour to create a dough and let that cold rise in the fridge for 3 days, then when ready, hand stretch, slap on the sauce and ingredients (low moisture mozzarella is a must), throw on a pizza stone that's 550F and you're good to go... best pizza i've ever eaten, save for pizza rock

According to me of course, and I am a clear expert on such matters by virtue of my: a) having eaten at Pizza Rock, and b) having access to an internet forum.

Well I'm surprised no one has mentioned how much they like Pizza Hut or Domino's Pizza. This always comes up at some point on these pizza threads. The taste is memorable and I don't mean in a good way.

One of the best places in town for pizza is The Four Kegs on Jones and 95.

My daughter and I have a fairly significant intolerance to gluten so I am always searching for good places that serve gluten-free foods. We don't have Celiac Disease so we do not have to be as concerned about cross-contamination which can occur at pizza places even if they serve gluten-free pizzas. We have shared the gluten-free pepperoni pizza at both Pizza Rock locations, and we think it is the best gluten-free pizza we have had not only in Las Vegas but also at any restaurant out of state. We believe it is the pepperoni which makes the pizza, and the gluten-free crust, which I was told they have made to their specifications, has great texture and flavor.
