Might be worth it to just buy a drone and camera, use them for the days needed, and then sell them.

How about a Gopro on a pole made of 2x4s long enough to get the angle you want?

I will come over, and toss a gopro into the air at intervals of 5 seconds, then stitch the clips together to create a nice video.

YOUSE people .. Well, If the person and his drone is $$$ then I will buy my own drone and do it,
But I really don't have much use for a drone, all national parks, and most cruise lines don't allow drones
And there are just so many times you can film the strip

All, day is they shoot, they recharge / swap batteries / They film some more.

Jonathan

Why not just put one of your wifi cameras up on a tall pole. You're just talking about a single story house.

I already have a Fixed webcam that will be doing a time lapse, but I would like some detailed shots as well.

I have been tempted except for the physical problem. I have a pilots license so I could likely even get properly licensed by the FAA. Almost all the guys doing it are in fact not legal if paid or for commercial purposes. Maybe I could get the Admiral to be the operator...though that might well prove a source of family friction...we don't always play together well.
