From my home to downtown Summerlin is 2 miles. Today I saw 3 car accidents on this route (one person was also killed on Charleston and Hualapai ).
Every day I see at least one car accident in this area.

All Summerlin grocery stores parking lots are full at any time during the day or night. Making it difficult to find parking space.

If you try going to visit any restaurant chain (cheesecake factory, olive garden...) there is wait of at least 10 min - any day, including Mondays and Tuesdays !

Yesterday (Thursday) wait was 25 min at Olive Garden Summerlin location.

I can see some "strange" and "scary" people walking around the streets at any time after midnight.

It seams that all LV is coming now to Summerlin.

I don't like that, this was quiet area just until last year, now its becoming like LA!

I was supporter of Downtown Summerlin but now I changed my mind.

I see this sort of thing every time I drive. All over town. Hendo, Sunrise, Winchester, Paradise -- doesn't matter. Too many people speeding, texting and running red lights.

Maybe so. A contained and controlled community could be utopian.

However, here in the real world, people are drawn to a metropolis though things just keep growing and getting busier. For, if a place was attractive to them it's probably attractive to lots of other people too.

It's an interesting sociological concept to discuss - why human beings tend to gravitate to each other in large numbers then are stressed by the result. We've done it throughout history and will continue to do so. It seems to be our nature.

People don't realize, but utopia is a form of hell.

If you don't conform or have different ideas, you will be destroyed.
