Also more traffic, more densely populated, and reliance on Amazon much the same as Vegas relies on the strip.

Seattle might have more to do if you stay indoors out of the rain.

I like Seattle. I spent summers there as a kid. I just prefer more sunshine and warmer temps. Enjoy your new city!

I like Seattle, too.

That said, if someone finds Vegas boring, well that person is likely to be bored anywhere. We make our living on over stimulation. Vegas is a lot of things . Boring isn't one of them.

Disagree.

Las Vegas is far-and-away the best city for classic rock concerts on the planet. There isn't even a close second. But there's more to life than classic rock. Seattle has variety for things to do that Las Vegas never will.

I'd take Seattle in a split second over Las Vegas because Seattle has more variety. I would move tomorrow to Seattle (so fast that I'd leave a vapor trail) if that was a responsible option for me. I like Seattle for all the reasons that I DON'T like Las Vegas.

I don't think I could take the dreary days with no sun. The idea of Seattle appeals in every way other than the rain and sunless days. I get seasonal depression when I don't get sunlight. The other thing is I heard people are not friendly there and are not really welcome to newcomers. It's kind of a city set in its ways. (What I heard from several sources and family who have lived there.)
