LOL... we sometimes brag about purchases we've made... the cheap ones. I still like to talk about my wife's sun dress which was triple marked down to $1. Yes, one dollar. It's definitely not a name brand, but it still looks incredible on her, 10 years running. I still can't get my head around the economics of that dress.

And, c'mon, you don't post your recent purchases unless you meant to brag.
I would never have posted those pics if it weren't for the overly harsh reaction by some here of my initial post. I guess I should of kind of expected it. Honestly, even to me it does feel unbelievable at times how I ended up where I am.

I'm currently near the bottom among 1%ers so there's almost an entire percentage above me. I know there are people much richer and successful than I am. I just do the best I can.

i agree.. some of the markdowns are incredible.. you have to wonder what it costs... but it might be the same strategy i use for ebay... lets say i buy 20 video games for $100... i post them... the first 3 sell for the $100....so i'm even.. what the rest sell for, i don't care... i'm all about the thrill of the hunt for the product.

I'm starting to like the Toast guy. The exchanges in this thread are some of the funniest I can recall in quite some time.

I think ebay even offers certain health benefits if you get a sizable business going don't they?

I've never used it myself because I'm afraid of being scammed. I also wonder if as sellers do you get scammed sometimes?
