Im sure this question was already posted here but cant find it using search option.

We are selling our house and buying other one.

there will be probably gap of 2 months between selling our house and buying new house.

Anyone has idea what is the best to do? Rent something or put everything in storage and go to Hote/Motel for 2 months?

weekly is your option...

you can't stay in a single hotel/motel for more than 30 days at a time

this is correct. But if you have the money why not stay at one place for two weeks and a change of scenery at another place for two weeks. You wont find month to month in a "nice area" here. Stay in a weekly and be prepared to encounter all the shenanigans that come with people that are $20 from being homeless. Even in the nice weeklies there can be a little bit of riff raff.

There are a lot of monthly rentals in Las Vegas, try sites like VRBO or homeaway or Tripadvisor.

wow average 2 bedroom weekly rent on those sites is almost 700-1000 $ . Or 2000 - 4000 + month. We should maybe move to Hawaii for one month for that money

Do you have an idea of what two months you would need to temporary place to live?

You are right! Short time rentals in decent areas are expensive. Most of the others like, say, Siegel can be a scary place to live.
