I'm curious to know about the regularity of breeze and wind at night in Las Vegas.

Moreso in the afternoons than in the evenings.

When the wind blows in Vegas, it is usually gusty wind mixed with sand.

No one in Las Vegas has facial wrinkles due to the sandblasting wind that Mother Nature provides.

I always thought it was pretty windy here. But the wind power people say we don't get enough for turbines.

No one can clearly answer your question. Unless you are asking if it gets breezy enough to cool things off at night. That answer is a definite maybe, sometimes, but not really very much in summer. The sun going down cools things off a little, but you can't rely on a "desert breeze" as in the famous song from "The Desert Song" musical.

I'll never forget back in the 60s, when I'd only been here a couple of years, was playing softball downtown, in a park behind the then Mint Hotel, way before the U.S.95 Expressway was built over it. It was about midnight or 1:00am, and I looked up at the time/temp sign on top of the hotel, and it had just dropped to 100º, and there was no wind at all. Makes me smile when I think of it because I had recently been talking about the heat with a friend back east, and he said, "yeah, but it gets cold at night doesn't it?"

Yeppers. Drops down below 100º once in a while.
