I would mention safekey as well. It's run by the City of Las Vegas Parks and Leisure Department if I remember correctly.

You might also want to check with the YMCA, they have a safekey program if I recall, and I believe, can pick up your child from their school and bring them to their facility nearest you. I'm not sure how much they charge, or if the YMCA still does safekey, but I do agree, after school childcare is very expensive.

Default Thanks guys=)

Thank you all so much. This was very informative and exactly what I needed. I'm definitely going to start calling around and inquire about the extended kindergarten and the Safekey. That sounds absolutely perfect for my needs. Where I live now in So. Cal daycare starts at upwards of $400-$500/month at a regular daycare facility. I make a decent living but with those prices, I'd be living hand to mouth real soon. Kind of negates the purpose of working doesn't it? Working just to pay for daycare?

But again, thx a million. This definitely is what I needed.

What are you talking about? Kid's Quest is not school.

Safekey is the best option for before/after school.

Possibly a parent that works in a casino and would feel most comfortable with their child nearby?
