About fifteen minutes ago, I saw a Metro car with two officers, guns pointed, at a car they had pulled over at the Funeral Home near Las Vegas Day School.

If Metro ever drew on me, they would not need to fire. With their history, I'd just go ahead and have a heart attack right then and there.

Anybody heard anything about this on news or scanners?

The cynic in me wants to say that the driver of that car probably missed his last insulin shot. But that's just the cynic in me.

There's all kinds of stuff going on in this town all day everyday. Here is a FB page to check out: Las Vegas Emergency Incidents (Las Vegas Heroes). They try to keep up with the chaos. Didn't see anything on your incident. Maybe it was just target practice time.

Please. Crime was never terrible in Las Vegas and has been dropping for 20 years. And that is without allowing for the 40 milllion carousers that come every year.

Not great. I would describe the Las Vegas crime situation as too bad to feature, too good to do anything about.

If you really think crime is bad go live next to a major city like Philadelphia. Also if you think Las Vegas Metro is gun happy look at many other cities that shoot many more people than Metro. Do I agree Las Vegas Metro is the best law enforcement department, absolutely not but most of my complaints about them are minor things (ie: speed traps, bicycle/dirt bike/motorcycle cops that think they don't have to obey traffic laws, poor community policing).

I think the most logical thing for that person to do is to continue to not listen to police commands...maybe even run their entitled mouth while walking towards the officers with their hands in their pockets....
