Hi all. I was told that there were several grants and help avable for felons in nevada. My question is if so where can i find out. I tried google but i cant find anything. Also do you know of any places that hire felons or who dont do background checks( wich is highly unlikely) Thank you Very much. I tried the evolve program but their waiting list is 3 weeks and to be honest we dont have that much time.

I would recommend you guys speaking with the parole/probation officer. They would have the employment and grant information available and they would be able to refer you to the proper job situation/potential employers I am sure. It's their job to keep folks outta jail to the best of their ability so it seems likely they would be able to answer your questions.

Another place that deals with released convicts is the Salvation Army. They would have the same information the probation/parole officers would have since it is those people that refer newly released convicts to the Salvation Army. Same concept would apply with halfway houses.

I once heard of a place called hope for felons or something like that. Here's what I found online. https://hopeforprisoners.org/

Another option could be a network marketing company. I think there are quite a few who don't do background checks and you can basically build online. In short sell people products and sign others up to do the same. If you find no one will hire you then you have to consider other means of making money. I have yet to hear of ant self employed person firing themself.

Good luck.
