No, no. It's Barstow.

Thanks for those stations. I check traffic on my phone before leaving but I would like to be able to hear what's coming up while on the road.

Yes, I was told that San Bernardino was the armpit of ca when I moved there. But then I went to Barstow and.....Blythe.
lived in that area for a long time, you get used to it.
the people are usually more friendly than LA and OC.
it has its merits.

Anyone that believes San berdo or Barstow are the arm pits of California has obviously never been to Stockton, Vallejo or even Fresno.

You really need to travel more. I mean a lot more. No really you must be kidding. I wouldnt live in San Bernadino but I think like just about everyone else I can name 100 worst towns or cities to live in.

Ever been to Detroit? In a heatwave? In an ice storm? Yeah its so much better than San Bernadino.

No, I can give personal testimony that San Bernardino & Barstow have no competition in being the armpits of California, with Barstow being the slightly bigger, hairier, smellier armpit.

The difference being that the originator said Earth, not California.

There are parts of Vallejo that are pretty bad when it comes to crime and looking run down, but there are nice parts too that are by the water. Richmond is a good example of this, most of the city is not a nice place to live until you get to the parts where it touches the bay. Living by the Chevron refinery is not a strong point either.
