Just heard from friends heading to Orange Cty, Ca the I-15 is on fire at Oak Hills Rd on Cajon Pass. Both lanes closed and many cars on fire since fire jumped freeway. Avoid at all costs!

I think I am going to go take a trip and park in the path of the fire.

Thank heavens I'm not on the 15 now!
But I am planning to go back to San Bernardino
in another week. Does anyone know of a good radio station along the way for traffic?
Thanks.

Try this.

From that site:

The Highway - 98.1,98.9 & 99.7

Highway Country - 107.3 & 101.5

Highway Rock - 96.9, 94.9 & 100.1

WHY DOES HIGHWAY RADIO WORK?
• Strategically placed radio towers create complete continuous coverage of over 40,000 square miles of the Mojave Desert and the southern Nevada pipeline — I-15 — allowing you to reach millions of travelers and hundreds of thousands of Mojave residents. 400,000 watts of power insures high quality reception throughout the desert.

Why would anyone in their right mind voluntarily "go back to San Bernardino?" If God decided Earth needed an enema, He would surely choose San Bernardino for the point of application.

Or just use Nav with traffic on your phone.. I still punch in where I'm going, even if I know the route, due to real time traffic updates an rerouting.

If you have a smart phone, using the traffic feature on Google Maps works really well.

I didn't think of that. My phone is reserved for books on tape.
