It was very entertaining. I would recommend it to any and everyone.

Hopes this helps anyone that is on the fence about going to see it.

From his early years with The Jackson Five, his hits are just that - sing a long songs that take you back to a different time and you get the what was I doing when this song came out feeling. Not many artists / songs can do that. He had greats songs all the way to the end, imho. I'd like to see this show, and Beatles Love..., one day.

A scintillating review indeed, the image your prose paints near saves one from having to travel to the theatre. A little heavy on the polemic but what wordsmith hasn't had cause to drift occasionally when describing something so clearly riveting?

One imagines the loud bang as a thousand suitcase lids are simultaneously slammed shut, as all around the world people frantically pack thir bags to rush to Vegas to catch this wonderful, spellbinding spectacle. Fame and fortune surely await the author too, so gifted with his turn of phrase and so witty are the comments; the New York Times perhaps or toastmaster at the White House, nothing is beyond the grasp of this Homer of the theatre, stretching his magnificent Odyssey for all and sundry to gape and marvel.....

Alternatively, perhaps just writing the cards that the porn slappers give out on the strip would be better! ;-)

I thought this show was an absolute mess, dreadful waste of talent and energy. Full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. I loved all the other Cirque shows I'd seen, at least 4 going back to the early days of Cirque. This was visual and aural madness, the lasers and video projections overshadowed the live performers, there was no attempt to unify any of the material thematically and it was way too loud. Tl;dr version: yuck
