not to be rude or anything, but if you can't splurge for a 12 dollar cab fare, vegas might not be your best vacation spot.

Bell runs small shuttle buses to all the hotels. Has for many years. Actually could be quicker than a cab when McCarran backs up. Pick em up in front of hotels or outside the luggage carousels.

I can afford taxis. I still take public transportation on vacation every chance I get.

Most cities have better systems in place than we do. Usually, it's a subway stop at the airport, which gets you to within a few minutes walk to your destination for a couple dollars. That's so much better than cabs.

If you dont want to pay for a cab, route 108 stops out in front of HRH about every 30 minutes and costs just $2. It takes about 5 minutes from there to the airport.

I'd rather spend money on almost anything else than cab fare, no matter how cheap. But that's just me.
