Bring it on! I can't wait to turn off the AC! I am hoping the 100's next week will be the last for this year!

Done at my home in SLC. We shut down the cooler every Sept 1st. Some of my trees are already shifting colors.

When I lived in Utah I never used the AC because it always cooled down dramatically at night. As soon as the sun went down I turned on the swamp cooler fan and usually left it on all night.

Every year we had a snow pool. $5 to guess the date when snow in the mountains is visible from the valley floor. SLC is a beautiful place to live.

Give it 10 years. Then you will be freezing with the rest of us. I need a jacket if it is 70 and breezy!

It depends. Sometimes it can be very nice, or the news will blow up with freeze warnings, lol. (Which means it will dip below 32 for a few hours.)

Most of the time the high is in the 50's to low 60's.

Oh, great. I leave to avoid the crowds on Labor Day weekend when the weather is cool(er). Now, it's going to be hot as I return this coming week. This should be the last of it, though.

Funny thing: We just had our first frost of the season up at our cabin in the Wasatch Mountains. The leaves are going to be stellar this year.

I was chilly there this weekend. Wore a light sweater Sat night and Sun night I was just cold on Fremont Street. I think I have already acclimated as I saw others standing under the AC at the casino doorways to cool off as I was going outside hoping to warm up!

I plan on visiting the Berkshire Hills in Mass. for a a week in early November. That should reset my thermostat for the Vegas "winter".
