Kinda shows how much the "one post wonders" know about Las Vegas, doesn't it?

I cannot say about Las Vegas, but it has been my experience, generally that when you are talking about bars, the terms "smoke free" and "popular" are mutually exclusive.

Typically, people who drink either smoke, or don't mind smokers. I'll be interested in reading the responses to see if there is an exception to the rule in LV.

Buffalo Wild Wings are smoke free. There are also bars inside casinos that are smoke free. The Pub in Monte Carlo comes to mind. The bars at most restaurants are smoke free. If they are not, they have to be walled off.

I thought the Trump was all non-smoking? I've never been there, just a rumor I've heard.

Also, there is a bar out by me... in the Smiths parking lot at Charleston and Hualapai... that is non-smoking, and they seem serious about it. I've only been in there a few times, and they have signs up all over, and I never saw anyone smoking. Can't remember the name of the place... The Outside Inn, I think its called.

We were in a bar in California after the state-wide non-smoking ban went into effect and there was plenty of smoking going on. When we asked one of the employees about it, they said that the "authorities" looked the other way because otherwise many bars and restaurants would go out of business since there were LOTS of smokers in town. I have since heard that California is *VERY* strict about the ban, but apparently they didn't tell this town. LOL

I don't think that any police enforce the law unless there are complaints. At least that is how it is in Springfield, MO. They won't get involved unless someone calls the cops and complains. My thoughts are, if they don't like it, they need to go someplace else.

Default Smoking is conducted by a certain demographic.....

Smokers are in a certain demographic (low intelligence, addictive personality, etc) and this is the same demographic that casinos and bars cater to. They prey on this type of person and smoking goes hand in hand with other addictive activities....such as casinos and bars and druggies, etc.

Think about it....how many alcaholics are non-smokers....how many drug addicts are non-smokers....how may gambling patrons are non-smokers?

Sure, there are the exception crack/meth addicts that are non-smokers as there are alcoholics that are non-smokers...but its the exception for sure.

Eventually everything will be "smoke free"....given time. Yes, even Vegas!

No such thing as a smoke free bar in Vegas anymore. Passed a new law stating you must be 21 to be in all local bars in las vegas.

This is a disturbing post in so many ways I do not even know where to start. Luckily we do not pander to people like this in Las Vegas.

BTW, since the courts have ruled that smoking bans are a state right, it will take the marketplace to decide to end smoking in casinos, not the government. If there is demand for a non smoking casino you should open one and make your billions.

Edit: Just found this post in another thread. Apparently girls that work in casinos that do not have all of their skin covered are all prostitutes.

Please go back to whatever anti land you came from. Las Vegas is not a city for you.
