I took four and a half hours of my life to do a simple DL renewal at the West Flamingo location last August.

I think it's pointless to tell people. They obviously have to go experience this for themselves before they will believe it.

I've found late in the day to be better than early in the morning. The cynic in me explains it by noting the employees want to leave at quitting time, so they pull out all the stops. They work faster, and many more employees staff the counters.

I feel the same. also will not make an appointment for auto repair or for that matter any work that needs to be done on a Monday, especially mornings, as I believe workers are not just that productive or attentive after weekends. they're also in a better mood after hump day, especially on fridays.

I go to the one on Decatur way to the North. It's not bad if you get there early.

Beats waiting at Sahara for more than four hours. And there are two wineries at Pahrump to visit.

HMMM looks like there is a market for disabled folks to go to the DMV.

SO has to go and he is depressed. No tickets/violations and he has to go in person. No online renewal. Probably because his picture is so old.

First step to avoiding long lines at DMV is to make sure you have to be there in the first place, and don't go unless absolutely necessary. Most things done at the DMV can now be done elsewhere and even be done from home, online. For vehicle registrations and smog checks, go to a Jiffy Smog check location, and for a $10 charge, you can register your car there. (Don't get ripped off by other non-licensed services that will charge $89 for the service). Here's the DMV Link where you can find out what services can be completed without going to a DMV office.
