If you're doing dinner out in Las Vegas for Thanksgiving - time is running out to make reservations. A quick check of top-rated restaurants offering Thanksgiving dinners shows most of the tables for peak dining time (6-8 pm) are already gone.

I picked up a 2 seats for the Wifey and myself at Bazzar Meat (SLS). It's a prix fixe menu - $85 per person (drinks not included) and $75 for locals.

Thanks for the information. Wonder what Scoop is going to do for Thanksgiving this year?

BTW, I always thought the peak time for eating Thanksgiving meal was like 1 to 2 pm.

You may be right. I'm being presumptuous. I noted the 6-8pm times as "peak" simply because those times are gone from the available reservations I checked. For whatever reason, people want those times.

Well, If I was spending $85 per person for dinner I would be dam sure that I and the Mrs. were very hungry.

We'll head to the Palm bistro thanksgiving buffet again this year. No reservations.

Understood. We think the same way. 'Course, it's $75 per person for us.

Having said the above, the price per head for Bazaar Meat is a good deal considering the quality of the restaurant and the menu. Check out comparable Strip restaurants and you'll see what I mean.

Bazaar Meat's Thanksgiving menu:

Ferran Adrià Olives, Modern & Traditional
Liquid green olives, gordal olives stuffed with piquillo pepper
and anchovy
Croquetas de Pavo
Turkey-béchamel fritters
Lucia’s Salad
Endive Caesar salad, parmesan, anchovy, air croutons
Shrimp & Crab Cocktail
Cocktail sauce, avocado
Green Bean Casserole
Wild mushrooms, crispy shallots
Delmonico Potatoes
Cheddar cheese
Spiced Cranberries
Confit mandarins, Ceylon cinnamon
Butifarra & Cornbread Stuffing
Confit piquillo peppers
Josper Roasted Turbot
-or-
Mary’s Farm Turkey
Sous vide breast, confit leg, traditional gravy
(entrees serve two)
Pecan Pie
Pumpkin Tart

Definitely worth the $75. What's the dining room like? I don't suppose the place gets a lot of street thugs with tattoos.......

Nice!

We usually don't celebrate Thanksgiving because it's just the two of us. I'm used to great big Thanksgivings with family so it often feels weird to skip it.

Do any grocery stores here do a bento box version of Thanksgiving to go? Like if you just wanted a fresh plate with 3-4 slices of turkey breast, some mashed potatoes, green beans, ect, and not have to deal with the cooking or the leftovers.

I'd like to pick up two boxes of a Thanksgiving meal to go, please.
