I work outdoors and this year seems to be on the milder side of what i've seen in the past. Usually by now, we would have days where the temps are below 32 in the morning, but then heats back to to the 50s and 60s. What makes some days colder is the windchill. People might be feeling the big temp differential between dawn and mid day.

You sweats your cojonés off till November 01, then you freeze em off

As My ex GF has often said "Las Vegas has two seasons, Summer & January"

The first thread of the season complaining about it being cold. It's now OFFICIAL. Winter has come to Las Vegas.

Ahhh...that would be global warmin' of course.

Since our summer lasts an extra month, and we haven't had a decent autumn in the past few years, dismissing climate change is rather silly.

We're basically going straight from Summer to Winter with precious little in between.

We've had similar weather to LV in Tucson all year. We got our spring in February, our hot summer weather in April instead of June, and had many weeks-without-end of 100-degrees-plus. It still had only gone down to the 80s last week and suddenly it's 20 degrees cooler.

I'd much rather sweat than freeze. Sweating isn't painful. Ever whack your hand when it's cold? Hurts like a mother&^%$#
Not to mention I have some breathing problems that are worsened in cold.
I mean, it's not terrible, right now, in the afternoon in the sun, but 3/4 of my working day will be before noon when it's cold.

It's pretty much been that way forever. When I was little, I remember it being shorts weather at the beginning of October, but your mom always made you wear a coat over your costume by Halloween.

The last couple of years, we've had much warmer Octobers. November is generally nice compared to the rest of the country. We're able to deep fry turkeys outside while half the nation is freezing their butts off.

My only complaint about our winters is the cold dry winds that make you feel like your skin is being ripped off. I hate hot wind as well. Hair dryer in your face effect. Wind in general bugs me more than our temp. extremes.
