It's more like a supermarket than the usual Smart and Final. They are still having their grand opening. Went for the first time today. There are quite a few products that are less expensive than at the Smith's across the street.

Here's some of the best deals I found. Cold rotisserie chickens for $3.99. Chicken thighs for .89 per lb. They had a lot of primals(huge) of beef for as low as $1.20 per pound. If you were able to cut it up and freeze, it would be a great deal. They had plenty of big pork for cheap too! Saw some good prices on spices too.

It's like they kept the best of the commercial size stuff and added regular groceries. It's worth checking out!

89-cent chicken thighs are SOP at the Mexican markets.

But I agree that Smart and Final has some rippin' deals. Plastic wrap and aluminum foil, for instance. I'll never understand why people buy these items at a grocery store when they can get 10x more for half the price at the restaurant supply store.

(S&F is essentially a restaurant supply store.)

True! But I want to figure out how to cut up that beef. Yeah, chicken and pork are reasonable but I am tired of them!
