I feel like I won because I didn't spend any money on it.

I had a 10 quick pick ticket. 50 numbers and 10 powerball numbers. There is not a single instance anywhere on the ticket of 04 / 08 / 19 / 27 or 34. Not a single one of those numbers is on my ticket. I did however score one 10 in the powerball column for a solid $3 win or $17 loss depending on your perspective.

FYI: There was a winning ticket in Chino Hills. I can't even wrap my head around having that much money. I think I would literally go insane by going from poor to multi-millionaire in a matter of minutes. God bless him.

No Dltordj, Logline is absolutely correct in his statement above. The same goes for ScoopLv when he talks about casino gamblers. There is a reason I never gamble. That could be why I have way more in savings than a roommate of mine who makes over 4 times as much as I do, with the same expenses! I was sent this article below by a friend today, and it really goes well with this thread. I am glad I am not one of these people, or shall I say zombies.

Yep.

It looks like there's a winner in CA. If we ever get to hear from this winner on TV, take note. Does he/she sound educated? Are they innumerate? What is their current level of income: is it a person with a steady job, or will it be played off as a "rags to riches" story? I bet it's the latter.

You are so much better than the rest of who bought powerball tickets. Wish I was as cool as you. You know what? Maybe I should get a financial advisor to tell me how to better handle $2.

If you say so! And don't pretend for a second that you drove all the way to stateline or AZ to wait in line for hours and only bought 1 ticket.
