In State of City address, Las Vegas mayor highlights growth in 2015

Anybody else watch it? The full video is in the article and links to livestream. She talks about all the growth and different development projects. The mayor also mentions the launch of a new website for the medical district. LVMD | Las Vegas Medical District

And I still have to drive 5-10 miles to get blood drawn or an x-ray, or cat scan, etc.

We've found decent doctors here (with a couple of exceptions) but the overall system is crippled.

A new teaching hospital is a great idea as is a medical district, but the state really needs to step into the 21st century for medical care.

Isnt there a street that already has a bunch of clinics and stuff on it?

I'm just aware of the medical distinct off Charleston and then there is also a medical district off of Tenaya in North West Last Vegas by Mountain View Hospital. I just noticed the medical district sign last night when we went to Urgent Care by our place.

This came out in the weekly newsletter. (LVMD) master plan that included an expansion of the core medical district from 214 acres to 684 acres
