Hi,

Some of the home sellers offer to reimburse Home Warranty for the buyers. I was searching for Home Warranty in Vegas. Any one can share their experience with their home warranty. Any that can you give recommendation.

Thank you

Not sure exactly what you are asking, but we have a Pulte home and their home warranty, in our experience, has been fantastic. We have had to call them for several issues and they have been right out to take care of them and never tried to charge us a dime. We have friends who have a Centech(sp?) home and have many horror stories of dealing with that particular builder.

I put a pox on all of these guys. We have used AHS for some years both for ourselves and for clients. We found them about the best around though far from acceptable. The problem is always on the service end. It takes forever to get some one there and then they don't have the part. Had a dishwasher replacement to take almost three months. Had an AC problem to go on for 2 months with no one able to fix it. Finally got together with a friend in the business and fixed it. I would note that they were actually willing to replace the unit.

At the moment we are taking ourselves and clients to HSA. They are new kids in town and are doing a bang up job at the moment. How long that will last is up for grabs. But for now at least they are the best around. Website...

We have Old Republic Home Warrenty. It runs about $500 for the year, which also covers our pool. We have had them out for a couple of issues and have not had a problem yet. We do pay a $55.00 deductible.

Apparently an individual can't buy one unless buying or selling a home, or renewing an existing contract? We had one when we first moved in but never were given the opportunity to renew.

All you have to do is call around. Our friend had bought his home last year, and it came with a warranty, then he decided he wanted another company. He called around and got a better deal.

I believe that they just have to come do an inspection, to make sure that everything is working.

Bugbully,

our current policy is with Old Republic and was purchased for us by our Realtor when we bought our current house. The standard contract rate was $329 (realtor rate??) but now they want $425 for renewal for same coverage (service call rate $60 ) plus additional $$ for addon coverage..pool, fridge, w/d, etc..

We had no problems last year needing warranty service, so didnt have the opportunity to test their service. How fast were they in responding to a problem? did a contractor call you in a reasonable amount of time after first calling Old Rep with the claim? and satisfied with the quality of service company they used?
