Anyone have any idea how early to arrive at the dmv to get in and out quickly first thing in the AM?

Do people line up at the door prior to it being open?

Not sure if any of you have experience with this.

I went to the Henderson DMV office the Monday before Thanksgiving. I arrived about 10 minutes before the office opened, and I would guess there were about 60 to 70 people in front of me. I renewed my driver license with the Real ID option. I walked out of the building in a little over an hour. I'm not sure if this was due to it being a holiday week, but by about 8:45 a.m., there did not appear to be anyone in line checking in.

If you go to the one at Decatur, go in the late afternoon. They get really freakin efficient right before they lock the doors. In and out in 35 minutes or less.

In Henderson there is a long line in the morning before the office opens. Once it opens, the line moves very quickly as many people go directly to a clerk. The guy at the VIN check station said that the best time to arrive is one hour after opening.

I went an hour and a half before opening mid-week (on Flamingo) and was out an hour and a half after getting in. I had better success at the Decatur location.

It seems a lot of people get there early hence the long lines. Its hit or miss but I think late morning would be good
