Weird observation living in Vegas: weekends don't really feel like weekends. It all just feels like one repetitive weekday. And it's not because I work. I worked weekends back home & you could feel the difference between a Wednesday & Saturday in the city. I guess its because of the endless 24 hour lifestyle this town has?

Weekend are when the tourist industry in Vegas is at it's busiest. Lots of people, probably more than other cites, work weekends.

Definitely busy on weekends and my folks can't even afford to visit on a weekend because it would cost them $900 for plane tickets... from Albuquerque! And this was booking well in advance.

Doesn't it feel more like every day is a Saturday?

Actually, I'm retarred, and weekends still feel like weekends to me. But I've been here most of my life. Maybe it's subtle.

Yea... I guess that makes sense. I guess I said weekday because back home, being at work on a Saturday sucked. The social scene on weekends was just different. Here, it feels no Different than a Wednesday. I also work in a hotel so that probably plays a part.

I am more likely to do all my roaming around during the week and stay home on weekends! And when big doings are in town like, Helldorado, NASCAR, PRCA, etc, I might just stay home for the duration! I figure I don't have to fight the crowds, I live here.

Try going to the bank, or welding supply store, or a government building on a weekend.... Definitely feels like a weekend to me. If I didn't have kids, I'd be pretty upset about having Saturday and Sunday off because of how limited everything is.
Weekends are bs.

I can't imagine how bad the dmv is on the weekend! What a zoo on a weekday, must be nuts on the weekends.

Being from Boston, the weekends here in Vegas feel the same. Lots of conventions, events, and happenings on the weekends, traffic is increased on the weekends, and the bank closes at 12pm on the weekend in both cities.
