Hello all! I would like to know how often marketing internships are available? I'm thinking of maybe getting a summer job or internship out there and doing that over this upcoming summer. In terms specifically of the casinos or anything having to do with the nightclubs/entertainment ? I like to be in the hustle and bustle of things. I'm currently a marketing student in my junior year btw in a BA program. I just saw a marketing internship post for the cosmopolitan and wondering how often these come up.

Most of the bigger casinos hire interns. They are always at the front of the line for employees they can get cheap. But it's valuable experience for you!

Casino marketing is easy to get into. You will most likely start in direct mailings and promos then move into slot promos and hosting over time. Tables next until you learn the mechanics of the biz. The money is in the hospitality side and will have to wait around for awhile for an opening.
