I was just wondering what happened to "wet & wild" the water park that was on the strip, it was alway packed and a lot of fun. Why did they close it and what is there now? Are there any other water parks?

it is still a dirt pile, HOWEVER it is to become the new site of the Crown of Las Vegas, a 1000 foot high (slightly shorter than the Stratosphere), 5 Billion dollar hotel complex.. Unlike the Stratosphere, rooms go to the top.. It has already received approval from the planning commission and is currently awaiting approval from the FAA due to the height...... things are gonna happen in Vegas!

So they are going to build another "wet & wild" ? Are they talking about buiding another one , and where it's going to be on the new's and such? I thought it was so much fun and needed when it's so hot. To me I would think that Vegas has enough hotel's, but what about recreation? I was kind of mad when I heard that it was longer there, that was one of the reason's that I looked forward to visiting, me and my family had a lot of fun there.
I would be so happy if they rebuilt.
