3 cops were pulling people over all day today. One cop standing in the bushes in front of the gas station on the SW corner on a walkie talkie surveying every car in sight radioing two cops on motorcycles who were nabbing people left and right. Save your $250 for something more special than metro revenue.

Why not break down and spend $60 on a decent bluetooth headset. I have tried many Jawbone, Jabra, ect and took them all back. The only one I found that worked great was Plantronics Voyager 510 had to get it on ebay. Works great and is comfortable to wear. There are also several bluetooth units and clip to your visor and are good too. Sears actually has a pretty good one.

A good majority of cars now days have bluetooth enabled option but most people are too lazy to spend the time to set them up.

I have no sympathy for anyone who has the above options and fails to use them.

Also proclipusa.com has exact fit cell phone mounts for your car so you can hear and speak into your phone handsfree also.

The low budget way is to get a air vent clip for your phone like bracketron which is sold at Best Buy.

Why isn't the title of this thread "Don't use your cell phone while driving"?

My car is a 2006 and doesn't have Bluetooth or even an aux cord Jack, I have an fm transmitter set on 88.3 that if anybody calls me in the car, their voice comes on over the stereo speakers and I can talk hands free

Or, you could drive to your destination with your phone turned off. And then turn it on when you arrive.

I've been driving for decades. Today, it is impossible to tell the difference when you're behind someone on the phone, and behind a drunk driver. Back in the day, if someone was swerving all over the road, at least you knew he or she was a daytime drunk.

Amen to everybody but the OPs post. There is no one in the world you need to talk to or text while driving. No one.

It's about time. It's seriously on par with drunk driving.

Now that's what we need. Three policemen at every intersection.

Until the morons who live here learn that they have to hang up and drive, yes! They'll get the message soon enough. Even a dumb animal will learn to stop a bad behavior with enough negative reinforcement.
