Been raining off and on for hours here at our house in the NW. Most states would call it a drizzle. Don't think we're going to hit our annual rainfall of 4.2 inches though. I wonder if we might get a little snow tonight.

More rain is coming tomorrow night and Saturday with temps in the 40s on Christmas Day. Dare we hope for a white Christmas? We've never had one.

Yup, have mine on Monday only winter watering, and will be able to skip next week's and save a little.

Did I say we wouldn't make our annual 4.2 inches of rain? We've already hit 4.6 today with another storm coming tomorrow night. Snowing like crazy in the mountains. I'll wait until after New Years to go up and try my four wheel drive. As soon as we get snow, people who have never seen snow, let alone never driven in it, will be up there blocking the roads.

So weird, that this storm came up from Baja this time of year, and that isn't suppose to happen, only in summer! Normally, this time of year, they inch their way down from the NW, to the Bay Area, then head east, southeast.

This happened a couple times last year, as well, perhaps the climate systems are changing.

It's raining again. Glad I got all the grocery shopping done for Christmas today while we had a break from it. I went to four stores to buy groceries. Someone lovingly swiped the bumped of our new car in the parking lot. This is the third parking lot incident to happen at the grocery store since getting the new car. The first time was a lovely door ding on the passenger side. Then came a dent and scratch on the passenger bumper and now and even bigger scratch on that same side of the bumper. I wouldn't mind so much if it was a piece of junk or an older car, but it's brand new so it's really irritating. Of course the people take off without a word too. I cursed them all with karma. I don't know if it's happening at the Walmart on Charleston and Decatur or at the Cardenas near there but it's one of them. It makes me feel like we're driving bumper cars in Las Vegas.

I took the wife shopping for the kids giftmas presents at Target.
I stayed in the car with the kids.
I watched 6 cars almost wreck into 6 other cars.
5-10mph they were driving and couldn't handle their vehicles.
I believe I shall build my van an exoskeleton when I get my tube bender to stave off the stupidity of our poorly trained drivers.

On topic, it is raining quite heavily at my house and the wind has picked up a good pace. Considering a trip to Mt Charleston in the morning to check out the snowfall.

Still raining here. I wish people would learn to drive here. It's infuriating. This is why we can't have nice things.

The storm followed a usual path down and into the Pacific coast inland. The moisture comes up from the south, southwest, and feeds the cold front, like it is now.
