Was wondering what the reviews are for the Orleans poker room and the South point poker room. I like to play limit poker. $3-$6 or maybe $4-8. I do enjoy the upscale feels of the better hotels on the strip. I mean... Bellagio for example. Some people have said the casinos such as the South Point and Orleans have a "stench".... smoke smell... etc. Thanks in advance for any comments.

Orleans borders on dive but is best place for limit in LV. Poker Atlas is great site for that stuff.

If upscale is your kind of room, Orleans and South Point are not your kinds of places to play. As far as smoke stench goes, neither place is too bad compared to other comparable level properties, but you won't get the kind of service and surroundings that you will find at the Bellagio. If 3-6 or 4-8 limit is the game you seek, you can find 4-8 at the Bellagio or the Venetian. Those will be your upscale options. The next closest thing to those for a 4-8 game is probably Red Rock Casino or Green Valley Ranch (but GVR's typical limit game is 3-6 and does not have a 4-8 game going as often as 3-6).

Default thanks for the poker advice

Thanks for the advice on poker rooms. Its just what i thought. I was at southpoint yesterday. Its lower class for sure in my book. I went to the poker room and the woman working there told me they do not ever have a $3 - $6 game and rarely a $4- $8 game. Yet, she hands me a sheet that states they have both of those games going all the time lol OLD sheet I guess. Venetians rake is too high. Bellagio $4-$8 is what I will try thanks again all

Generally, the basic games are the same everywhere. Stick with 1-2/1-3 or 2-5 NL, and you can play in any casino in Vegas that has a poker room. Just pick your location, decor, and competition.

If you want a particular limit game, you're choices are going to be a little more, um, limited.
