Without time of use, you are going to have 300. bills from June - Sept. and thats at 78 on the thermostat. My first year here, i had a $560 bill in the summer (single month).. then tinted windows and solar shades.... i still hit $320 last year....and i wasn't on the time of use plan.... This is my first summer that i will be on the plan.. bills have been 50ish in the winter... before the plan always around 120 not in the summer... it also depends the direction your house faces also.. west is a killer.

No, Im not hallucinating. He is looking at a 1500 sq ft home. You have a home twice that size. When I was there 4 years ago I had an 1800 sq ft single story home and we never used more than 1400 kwh at the peak cooling season. We kept our stat at 82 during the day and 78 in the evening. It also depends on other factors too like swimming pools, appliances etc. And I was not on time of use either.

I was in and out of town, but when I was at home between 1-7 I was very conscientious of what electronic devices were being used.

TOU Option A runs June - Sept. Option B is July & August only.
