The upcoming heat wave is trending on facebook today with Monday supposed to be the hottest day in the week. We're going to have temperatures of 120.

That's Saudi Arabia and Dubai temperatures right there.
So why won't they sell cars here with those heavy duty air conditioners like they have in Dubai? We NEED these!

Parked in my driveway at 5pm my dash read 109.
Drove down the road and it crept up to 118 and held there. Even I thought it was hot. BUT it wasn't sticky so I am good to go.

Getting into a hot car is definitely the only thing that sucks about the heat. Leather seats and plastic trimmed steering wheel. Going to get a Flir soon and see what kind of temps various interior bits get up to. It's hot enough to bubble up the faux wood veneer on the wheel.

Drove out to the Valley of Fire and ran out around with a camera and a tripod on my back. Didn't seem nearly as hot as Memphis in June.

I'm thinking about yanking out my car AC & put in the system from a walk-in freezer.

I've been in Vegas in 113 degree heat. It's not too fun, but I could function in it. It was actually nice being in the pool at Bellagio in that heat.

Just had the power go out, south east side of town

I'm guessing electricity demand has skyrocketed past two days

Now would be a good time to have a Tesla home battery

I keep my ac at 84-85 and it's been on a lot. I am going to hate my electric bill.
