My insurance is already high. 132 a month for bare minimum coverage on a $500 car.

You could be at like 500 a month for commercial insurance.

I got my background check back. Clean, of course. Pick up the rental vehicle Thursday morning. Have to do a mentor session and then I can start driving. I don't need insurance on the rental, well, they provide the insurance. Not sure how much all that costs but they will be detailed and factored in to my earnings. I'll have a first impression soon.

That is the truth. Had to sell my welder to make rent. If Lyft does well I will drive for both.

I think the thing that makes these apps so cool for drivers is that if you have to go to Summerlin for instance, you don't have to go back to the strip empty. You just see who's around that requested a ride in that area.

The best part is I don't mind a bit of waiting around. I'll have my camera with me. I'll have my wireless keyboard with me and get a ton of writing done. 72,000 words in one of my books. Need around 30k more. This will give me the time and boredom to get it done quick.
