Hey Everyone!

It's been a few years since I posted in here but I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! lol I just purchased my first home in Vegas, haven't even moved in yet and already over the new neighbors! lol Long story short(er) the pool guy came out to clean the pool on Saturday and I find out the pool pump is broken. I call my home warranty they call the contractor who was closed on weekends. The contractor was scheduled to come out today (Tuesday). In the meantime the pool is turning green due to know pump running. This morning I have the county at my door saying they got a complaint about the pool. They were told that the pool has been green for 3 weeks. They showed me the picture they were sent and I can see it was sent by my new neighbors from their upstairs. First let me say the pool has NOT been green for 3 weeks it's only been 3 days! Anywho ... when i came to look at the house (before purchase) I didn't necessarily like how the neighbors back window could look down into my backyard now I REALLY don't like it.

Does anyone have any suggestion on those sun shade things or something I can put up that would give me privacy in my backyard?

FYI: We have no HOA.

P.S. 8 years in Vegas and STILL LOVING IT!

Yeah, I'd buy the biggest sail I could afford or even multiple sails. The fact that your neighbors are monitoring your backyard is creepy.

With two story houses cheek to jowl, you're not going to have privacy in your back yard.

Congrats on the new house.
Sail shade, check Amazon.

Fyi pump or not you need chlorine. $3 worth of liquid chlorine (aka shock, bleach) and 10 minutes of brushing will go a long way to starting to concur your algae problem.

How about a big tree that will bang on their house in the wind and drop leaves in THEIR pool?
