Further proof of why I cannot WAIT to move to Vegas.

This is what I woke up to this morning...

The dog seems to love it. I however, do not.

Seriously. 3-5 inches of snow, switching to freezing rain and sleet tonight into tomorrow AM.

I SO cannot wait to move to the desert. I think I'll burn my snow shovel in effigy.... heh.

to quote your article: "Although he didn't see much business, he is enjoying what is a rare occurrence in southern Nevada."

Yes, I know it happens. But very rarely. Hence my point.

Oh gosh, I hate that stuff. You won't be too worried about that here in Las Vegas, Davey.

Although we have gotten snow in the past, about an inch or two, it's gone within an hour, but if I recall, quite a long time ago we got a SNOWSTORM...with 5 inches or so, maybe in the 70's or 80's was it? I can't remember...but the Spring Mountains look beautiful with snow on them!

Actually, the snow is pretty.
I have this theory...you can be happy anywhere you have a decent job with good pay, benefits, friends or family, and a good enough economic standing to live somewhere safe and nice.
I wouldn't be happy in a garden spot if I was struggling or had to work 2 jobs.

Davey:

You can't complain about the snow this year, today is really the first snow of the entire Winter in the New York Metropolitan area. Will be 40 degrees by Sunday, everything will be cleared out by Monday morning.

Don't forget it was nearly 70 degrees here a couple of weeks ago.

I remember the Winters of the 1960's and 70's, when we would get a foot of snow followed by a week of sub 20 degree weather and then another snow.

God Bless Global Warming!

It may not snow much in Vegas, but the wind sure does blow.Reminds me of growing up in eastern Colorado and western Kansas.
