Wanted to try a new restaurant and lately have been in the mood for some good fried chicken.
Anyone have a favorite?

Doesn't look like there is one in Las Vegas.

I think Blue Ribbon in Downtown Summerlin is good.

That does look good and we aren't that far. If I remember right Ellis Island also has good fried chicken and masked potatoes.

Or you can just stay home and cook some fabulous fried chicken yourself, as easy as A-B-C!

Put some chicken pieces into a big pot, soak it in milk for 24 hours, then throw it into the deep fat fryer!

That's the way they do it in the Deep South, although you can also soak it in Buttermilk! I even add Half & Half Cream!

Perhaps I'm too spoiled with my own cooking, but there's only one place I trust, enjoy, it's near where I work in North Las Vegas, called Hamburger Hut, on Cheyenne Avenue.

#1: Grandma's. But she passed. #2, My Mom's, but she's gone too. Nothing since has been good enough.

Into a new experience? Bonchon on Rainbow for Korean fried chicken. A different kind of KFC but so flavorful!

Las Vegas NV - Bonchon Chicken

Definitely gonna have to check that out! I'm also partial to Mochiko Chicken on Obannon and Decatur.
