Advertisements

I would like to get some feedback on how it's viewed by recipients rather than the overall effectiveness which I assume would be largely dependent on what one is marketing.

Do you feel door hangers are annoying and intrusive as advertising or just a reality of city living?

I personally don't mind getting them from food places that deliver to my neighborhood but I'm considerably less happy when it's a service I have no need for.

I also am not fond of it when they are on the garage door or God forbid attacted to a window with TAPE!!!

Also not really fond of advertising distrubuted in parking lots
unless it's just a business card on the drivers door.

Thoughts...

Default It is litter

I watch people pull flyers off their parked cars and toss them. I would rather see paper ads go away altogether, but can understand the value to certain businesses. I think the USPS would fold (or has it already?) without the postage fees for the junk to fill our mail boxes.

I absolutely hate them. Not only are they a waste, as they go directly into the trash can, but they are also a signal to would be criminals. It's a pretty big clue that someone isn't home. And if you rarely go in and out your front door, it might send the wrong signal. and turn a burglary into a home invasion. Neither is a good situation, but I would prefer to not be around if a criminal breaks into my house.

Did I mention I hate them?

stick to the door!

In this day and age it's a pretty dangerous game to be touching someone else's vehicle.
And sliding it under the doors just creepy if you happen to be home.

Preferably it should hang from the doorknob and under no circumstances should be taped.

And certainly never put under windshield wipers as I can present a hazard if the driver doesn't notice them before they get on the road.
