I just landed a job cooking after being unemployed for almost a year, I start Sep. 1st of this year. I need a health card, but dont have money to pay for it. So i'm looking for a voucher. Where and how do I obtain one.

I have recently been offered a job as a cook in Laughlin,NV. I need to get a health card, but I do not have the funds to get one, hence the reason for the job. Does anyone know of a place close to Laughlin or Bullhead city that can help me get my Health card at little or no cost to me?

i read this thread and i can`t believe that there are people who asks for voucher or for a free something which costs only $65. I would be shamed to ask even a rebate for something at $65 since it would be for my job, which you can make huge money in Las Vegas in food and beverage. I`m from a poor eastern european country, but i haven`t heard about such a cheapest before... especially in USA especially for these kind of jobs, server, bartender where u could make $400/day, i mean you have money for electricity for your computer, or for a phone to see this city-data.com and you don`t have for that $65 fee?!? how is that? or are you homeless and you write from library? i don`t get it!!! you want everything to be FREE?? you can`t be homeless and get hired cause you need an adress..
