My bad
There is a big advantage to driving a muscle car vs. a Prius. When you park at Whole Foods, it is easy to find your muscle car in the parking lot.

But if you work at it s bit the Prius will light up and welcome you. You can blow the horn if desperate.

Actually my 2007 Avalon can do all that...

Car and Driver
My car is 17 years old and tops out at 155, only because the computer won't let you go faster. So, its literally faster then everything on that list than the Porsche 911. Newer cars are even faster than mine. There have been absolutely huge strides in engine technology since the 1970s, particularly within the last 10 years. Even the cheap-ass Kias and Hyundais can hit 120 now.

Must be missing something here. Why would anyone be interested in a car going 155 mph or even, 120?

Thread got sidetracked because of talk about Eastern and getting to/from Anthem quickly. Hopefully it will get back to real estate.

Default My Favorite House.

This is my favorite house in Las Vegas. It is only a half mile down from where I live and is actually very much out of keeping with the neighborhood.

Spent 2 and 1/2 months four or five years ago trying to get a client into it. Failed when the client chickened out. Was kind of interesting experience. This was not a house for anyone but it fitted this client perfectly.

The big problem was the builder whose personal residence it was never finished it. Got into financial problems in the crash and left the house about 3/4 done. Livable but not complete.

Here is a link..

And one of the most interesting things is the garage. There is a regular three car under the house...but the real one is a 10,000 SF garage with his and her multi stall bathrooms.

We involved a friend who is a high end contractor of commercial buildings who thought the place could be finished off for about $350,000 on top of the sales price of just under a million.

Most interesting thing about the place is the core is a one bedroom home of about 3500 SF. How often do you see that?

Interesting enough it may still be incomplete, The house has a deck at roof level with a glorious strip view...but it is not mentioned. The problem was that the access was a pull down stairs in the laundry room.

Really needed an external elevator which would have other uses but would cost a good part of $50,000 or so.

Take a look. It is something exceptional.

Hey Moderator, can we get a new Real Estate Thread marked Real Estate Fall or 2017? This one is a monster, contains mostly out of date information?
