Noticed this around my backyard, a small amount even got into my pool and it floated to the top, looked oily

What the heck is this stuff? Is it from trees?

Neighbor recently had a pest guy come and spray, but I wouldn't think it was that

It's spring. Flowers are blooming, and with them comes pollen. The pollen is the dust you are seeing.

I went out to my car last weekend to find it covered in dust! I thought maybe a dust cloud passed through during the night. My neighbor told me it's from the pine trees in our complex. If you touch the pod looking things on the edge of the pine tree branches it puffs like smoke but its yellow. IT IS EVERYWHERE! My patio chairs, grill, the patio, the sidewalks, everything is covered! Even have yellow footprints across my living room floor! He said it lasts about 3 weeks. Oh and don't use your windshield wiper fluid to try and get it off your windshield. It just makes a neon yellow mess!

High pollen counts are all over the news - how did you miss that?

Pollen from Mesquite trees. I have a large tree in front of my home and below it are like yellow dust all around.

A few times during the last few days, I've looked down my street while it was breezy, and could see the yellow fog surrounding some trees. It's crazy. I have a cover over my pool and it's covered in yellow pollen. When water runs down the gutter, you can see a river of pollen floating on top.

It's just nuclear radiation from the Nevada Test Site. Don't worry.. It's harmless.
