I need to purchase a tres leches cake after work. So I'm thinking one of the grocery stores would be my best bet. Anyone have opinions on whose is better?

I'd recommend El Super or Cardenas, However there's a place called Vegas Bakery on N Jones their tres-leches in my opinion its the best I've had.

It is a cake that is soaked in three milks (cream, evaporated milk, and sweetened condensed milk) and has a whipped cream-type topping. It's delicious!

I ended up going to Cardenas and got a Tres Leches Moca and it was awesome!

For the next time, Cake World makes a Tres Leches cake also. I've had several of their cakes and all were very good and of good quality

Thanks! I will definitely keep that in mind. That place is close to where we live too so I'll have to check it out.

I've never had their tres leches cake, but everything else I've had from there was outstanding. They make a really good cheesecake.
Have had tres leches flan in restaurants. Ummmmmm.
BTW: It's a good idea to call and order cakes ahead of time, or they may not have it when your want it.
