Anyone partaking now that its legal and you can walk into a store now? (At least temporarily until they run out of supply).

Im excited to see the taxes help Las Vegas, especially if tourists are coming in to purchase as well. No place to smoke it, but I could see that changing in a couple years.

I don't mess with drugs at all but I am super happy it is legal. I took a 69 year old grandma to get some weed yesterday. She wanted it to go with the Queen concert. I kind of want to buy the smallest amount of something just to say I did but I don't know what I would do with it afterwards. I have no desire to consume it in any way.

It's one of the main reasons why real estate has gone through the roof in 2017. I for one am very happy, although the Nevada Medical program is second to none in the ease, the choices of dispensaries, and the massive and I mean massive menus they offer.

Shango alone offers more than 30 strains, then there are vapes, concentrates and edibles, and god knows what else these millennial have come up with on how to consume. I'm an oldtimer, but very happy to have my choice of a wide range of flower to choose from. Not to mention the price (and they all run daily specials like buy a 1/4 get one for .01 type sales) are like 1985 pricing. Ounces start at $150, sometime $120 on sale.

We'll have to see how this plays out for July 1st. The Legislature passed for July 1st distribution by dispensaries set up for Medical, but the law the citizens of Nevada passed states distribution shall be done by alcohol distributors, and they are really really pissed. They know the first on the scene will have a head start.

Personally I like that the dispensaries are in charge. They have great quality control, and the labeling and strain production is outstanding. You can see each harvest's THC % along with 5 other cannaboids that have associated effects, so you can choose to remain alert and psychodelic for a show or get a crash and burn type for a great nights sleep. If liquor stores like Lee's get a hold of it, they be pedaling any crap they can get their hands on.

Let liquor stores sell liquor and leave weed to the dispensaries. They are very good at it.

I've been smoking for 43 years. It's been a long wait but I'm glad to see pot legalized in my lifetime.

I use it to sleep. I'm in constant pain and all the drugs prescribed either didn't work or had terrible side effects that were worse that the pain. It's nice to take one hit and be able to go to sleep. I don't use it during the day, but when I lay down and there are no external stimuli it all comes to the forefront.

A wonderful drug, marijuana. I'm glad the nabobs in this state approved it.

They are idiots. Complaining about the rights to distribute when very few even applied (Five, I think), and only one filled out the paperwork correctly. Imagine how screwed up distribution would be through that bunch.

Was really shocked the judge allowed this. But you know, money talks.

The way I read it is once the shops run out of supply on hand, they wont have any distribution to stock back up. Then we'll be waiting on the alcohol to be granted distribution licenses.

I am happy it's legal too. I don't understand how to buy it yet but I am sure there will be a lot more info available any minute now.

Is it legal to smoke anywhere or just in your private home?

Right now it's on or in your property, but they are working to permit clubs and other commercial areas and also 420 rooms.

Now we can divert scarce law enforcement assets to something more useful -- say, more DUI enforcement on the highways.
