The problem that Resorts World is having.

37 bodies found in Resorts World Manila, Philippines official says - CNN.com

Asians are extremely superstitious.

NOTHING is going on construction wise.

The county should have pulled eminent domain on the Alon (defunct) AND Resorts World and built Raiders Stadium on the strip.

So when everyone complains they make it sound like they are concerned with how these changes will effect the community, when in reality they are simply complaining about how they might be impacted as an individual? I personally think people simply have a knee jerk reaction and get in an uproar anytime they see a headline that a casino wants to charge money for whatever. It doesn't matter what it is, or if it impacts anyone other than tourists, they will complain about it.
Locals aren't going to open the new shops. The rent is unbelievably high. Corporations do. Rent in these places is not "a couple thousand a month". A kiosk is close to 10k. Yes it can bring jobs.. Minimum wage
