Who do you use? Are the prices similar for deciduous trees?

I've seen this all over Vegas. Pretty much anywhere anyone didn't want to pay to have their trees trimmed. I don't think natural palms look all that bad, but I suppose they can be dangerous to people under them and attract various undesirable critters.

I only had Tree Pros do my Palm trees so I don't know what they charge for others. That being said if I do have some other types of trees that need to be trimmed I won't hesitate to have them do the work.

Deciduous trees are a lot more expensive than palms. I recently had my 30 year old Ash tree trimmed this year and it was $250. I had three quotes ranging from $175 - $250. Personally, I will only have a my nice big trees trimmed by companies with certified arborists on staff, which there are only a few (First Choice and Henrie have arborists). I recommend Henrie. The $175 quote was from more of a "landscaping" service with no arborist. You don't want someone who is going to "top" your tree. That's just the cost for one tree, btw (I had other work done as well).

Deciduous trees should be trimmed around Jan/Feb after they lose their leaves and before they get next season's.

tree pros charged me 100. its 35 per tree if you have more than 3....

i can only rate them average.. they were almost done with my job but my palm tree was not even at all.. didn't look good at all.. guy said the chain was worn and he didn't have a replacement. i asked if he would come back to finish when he had the chain... he turned around, got the chain saw and then finished the job.

35 to 50 per. But they don't want to come out for one tree. how overgrown is? it IE how many years since the last pruning? you might have to pay a hundred bucks maybe more depending on shape of tree and accessibility.

I'm in the Summerlin Desert Shores area, and I paid $45 a tree, no height restrictions. When I called him to make an appointment, he came within 1 hour!! Blazing speed and went right to work! Forsaking his lunch break even, to make this happen. I found him because he left a business card (I guess it was one of those door-to-door solicitations) several months ago. I had four very tall trees, probably 40 feet tall, and two HUGE and FATTY 12-foot palms in my front yard within reaching height. Believe me, after all the leaves he sawed through, I had no ground left. He worked through 100 degree weather conditions for hours with his partner. He hauled away and everything! I tipped him $40 for his good service and cleanup. He said "Gracias gracias!" very grateful.
Here's his number: EMP Palm Service
